Ferrite Granulator Machine: Intensive Mixer Efficient mixing and granulation technology

Resources: AKWDate: 30 / Apr / 2025

Intensive Mixer can efficiently achieve uniform mixing and particle forming during the mixing and granulation of ferrite materials. The following is a summary of the key points:

Working principle of Intensive Mixer

Intensive shearing and mixing:high shear force is generated by high-speed rotating rotors or stirring blades to quickly disperse powders and ensure uniform mixing of ferrite raw materials(such as Fe₂O₃,MnZn,NiZn,etc.).

Granulation function:after adding liquid binder(such as PVA,water or organic solvent),the powder is agglomerated into dense particles through mechanical action to control particle size and strength.

2.Key requirements for ferrite mixing and granulation

Uniformity:the performance of magnetic materials is highly dependent on the distribution of components, and local component deviations need to be avoided.

Particle characteristics:particles need to have appropriate fluidity(facilitating subsequent pressing and molding)and strength(reducing transportation breakage).

Process control:temperature, humidity, and mixing time need to be precisely controlled to prevent material oxidation or agglomeration.

3.Functional integration of ferrite mixing granulator:

Heating/cooling jacket:control mixing temperature to prevent premature curing of adhesive.

Vacuum or inert gas protection:prevent ferrite oxidation.

Automatic control system:accurately adjust speed, liquid addition rate and mixing time.

4.Operation optimization and parameter setting

Mixing stage:

Dry mixing:first mix powder at low speed to ensure initial dispersion.

Wet mixing:gradually spray adhesive,increase speed to 800-1500 rpm,and continue for 3-10 minutes.

Granulation stage:

Adjust the gap between rotor and stator to control shear force(affect particle size).

Typical particle size range:50-500μm,which can be optimized by screening or adjusting the amount of adhesive.

Cleaning and maintenance:clean up residues regularly, check rotor wear, and avoid cross contamination.
