In lab validation experiments, the machine completed the whole carbon powder fibrosis, dispersion and granulation process within only 3 minutes, greatly shortening material development cycles for dry electrode and carbon composite powder industries.

Carbon powder fibrosis is a critical procedure for lithium battery dry electrode manufacturing, carbon paste, conductive carbon composite and carbon material R&D. Traditional mixing equipment normally requires long mixing time, and often suffers from poor binder fibrillation, powder agglomeration and inconsistent particle quality. The intensive mixer granulator adopts dual-motion countercurrent mixing principle, combining high-speed rotor shear and vessel rotation. It delivers strong, uniform shear force to realize binder fibrosis while evenly dispersing carbon powder, and completes granulation in one chamber without material transfer between multiple devices.
During this test, technicians adopted standard carbon powder formula to verify fibrosis effect. After 3 minutes of continuous operation, the sample showed uniform fiber network structure, good particle sphericity and low segregation. The one-step process eliminates repeated feeding and transfer steps, reduces contamination risk and improves batch repeatability.
